Dear Reader,

Born in Zimbabwe and now based in Australia, I am a Registered Nurse with primary specialty in Emergency Care, supported by experience across Paediatric, Neonatal, Medical and Surgical Nursing. My career has been shaped by high-pressure environments where compassion, adaptability, and clinical precision matter most. And yet, no matter where I practice, my heart has always remained in Africa.

Growing up surrounded by the raw beauty and rhythm of the bush instilled in me a deep love for safari and wildlife conservation. The landscapes of Kruger National Park are more than just scenery to me; they represent the intricate connection between land, wildlife, and the surrounding communities who call it home. I am especially passionate about the intersection between conservation and community healthcare in remote regions bordering Kruger, where sustainable wildlife initiatives and accessible medical care can uplift entire communities together.

Taking adventures back to experience safari is incredibly personal. It is not simply about spotting wildlife - it is about feeling Africa’s heartbeat at sunrise, understanding the delicate balance of conservation, and witnessing the resilience and warmth of its people. I love creating opportunities for others to experience the magic that shaped me - the awe of elephants moving through golden light, the distant call of lions at dusk, and the profound reminder that conservation is not just about protecting animals, but about preserving ecosystems and supporting the communities intertwined with them.

Africa is where my story began, and sharing its beauty, purpose, and possibility is one of my greatest joys.

With love, Kyra
